Nexium Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets treats heartburn and acid reflux. They are suitable for short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults, aged 18 or over.
Caution: Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
How to use:
Read the package leaflet before use
Take one tablet once a day. Do not exceed this dose
The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush the tablets
May take 2-3 days for full effect
If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after taking this medicine for 14 days in a row, contact your doctor.

Consuming large amounts of alcohol before or shortly after taking this product may increase the risk of serious side effects.
Heartburn may occur. If you suffer from any of the following symptoms, you must not take this medicine if you are over 18 years of age:

The tablets may cause delayed heartburn. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about the risks if you are involved in breast feeding, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from heart problems.
Do not use this medicine for longer than directed, even if your symptoms have gone away. Avoid contact with eyes.
The tablets may cause symptoms such as chest pain, pressure, trouble or heartburn, a burning sensation, feeling, nervousness, and hoarseness. If you experience any of these, stop taking this medicine and seek immediate medical attention.
A very serious reaction to this medicine is not rare.

Teva and AstraZeneca won't pay for a lawsuit against the company. Teva is accused of trying to delay its launch of a version of its blockbuster heartburn drug Nexium last month.
AstraZeneca and Israeli drug firm Teva were accused of trying to delay its entry into the world's leading market for prescription heartburn medicines. The US case is the first of its kind, and the US court of appeal has said that it can go into a class action lawsuit only if AstraZeneca or Teva gets its way.
The first is that Teva and AstraZeneca want to pay for the company's alleged failure to manufacture and market the drug. But AstraZeneca said its lawsuit is not ready for litigation and is not ready for a class action lawsuit.
